Anna Chodos awarded cooperative agreement with the Administration on Community Living

Dr. Anna Chodos was awarded a 4-year cooperative agreement with the Administration on Community Living to support the 2022 National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers by creating a national educational program, "Caregivers as Partners in Care Teams." Dr. Josette Rivera will lead curricular development and the focus will be on teaching health care teams how to assess caregivers and incorporate them into care.  To reach national scope, this is a collaboration that brings together educators and experts across multiple UCSF departments (DGIM, the Global Brain Health Institute, Institute for Health and Aging, Institute for Health Policy Studiesand institutions (UC College of the Law, the Division of Geriatrics at UC Irvine, Archstone Foundation).
