A Dedication of the Healing Garden Brie Williams Helped Secure Funding for Featured in San Jose Mercury News

In 2016, Brie Williams, MD, MS partnered with the California Medical Facility prison in Vacaville, CA to secure funding for the construction of a prison hospice garden. Built with the support of the California Healthcare Foundation, this garden will help bring some peace, comfort, and dignity to the lives of seriously ill patients. A dedication of the healing garden was held on June 1st, 2018 and a short article about the ceremony appeared in the San Jose Mercury News.
