Janice Schwartz and Team Receive NIA Grant

Janice Schwartz, MD with co-PI Dr. Margaret Fang and co-investigators Drs. Scott Kogan and John Boscardin, received an NIA grant to study anticoagulant responses to two newer anticoagulant medications in patient groups with non-valvular atrial fibrillation that were largely excluded from the pivotal randomized trials that lead to drug approvals-- namely, patients over 75 years of age and  racial minorities.
