Kenneth Lam Receives KL2 Scholar Award!

Dr. Kenneth Lam, mentored by Drs. Ken Covinsky, Dan Dohan, Alex Smith, Rebecca Sudore and John Boscardin, has been chosen by the CTSI KL2 Selection Committee to receive a KL2 Scholar award for his grant application titled: "The Epidemiology, Experience and Effects of Supports for Disabled Older Adults". His proposal will examine the range of caregiving and equipment setups that exist among older adults with similar levels of cognitive and physical impairment and the downstream health consequences of living in less supportive environments. He will also interview older adults to find out what tradeoffs they consider when thinking about caregiving and equipment.
