The UCSF Division of Geriatrics announces the December 2020 Staff Recognition Awardees

The UCSF Division of Geriatrics announces the December 2020 Staff Recognition Awardees:

• Outstanding Staff Recognition “Ohana” Award - Inspired by Lilo & Stitch’s quote “Ohana means family and family means nobody gets left behind.”, these awards are given to staff members who represent the following values:
  • Cyrus Ahalt received the Leadership & Teamwork award
  • Jana Powell received the Creativity & Problem Solving award
  • Malena Spar received the Friendship & Collegiality award
• Karen Yuan received the Employee of the Year “Popcorn” Award!  This award recognizes one staff member who during the past year embodied all of the values for the Ohana award.

The next Ohana staff recognition award period is Jan – May 2020 with nominations accepted in June 2020.
